People living on the Isle of Wight have a Southampton postcode! ...having said that many places in North Yorkshire have a BD (Bradford) postcode - which is even further away than Oldham is from Saddleworth, so you'll probably be a bit used to it already! Conflicting advice from everyone you speak to at Vodafone. Sorry to say I have failed and will now be going to O2. I believe that it is a question of won't rather than can't as Vodafone want you to spend more money on a data SIM for an iPad etc. Good luck to anyone else that tries - we really have to keep pushing these companies to get a fair deal for our money! Greater Manchester is not just an administrative thing, it's a real county with real physical boundaries, and has been for nearly 40 years - look at any map. I'm an Oldhamer, born and bred, and I respect my Lancashire history, but I don't live in the past.
